Cellebrating the purchase of my first computer.

The picture above was taken in late September 2001. It showes me celebrating the purchase of my first computer. For years I had dreamed of having one, and learning how to use it.

Since then I have learned to surf the internet. What joy I experienced when I realized that for the first time in my life I truely had an unlimited source of recipes to try out. Living in a small town, it was hard to find recipes from other nationalities. Now I am trying recipes from all over the world.

Now I thought "What's left to do?" The answer came almost instantly. Make your own web page and share recipes with other people. So here we are. I hope you enjoy it.

Note: Since this picture and web site was put up, I have moved on to a faster and better computer. My first one got fried durring an electrical storm, that even my surge protector could not protect it against.
Tip: If you are leaving the house and the weather lookes iffy, unplug computer.

Cooking Tip

When making a beef roast remember these cooking times. 15 minutes per pound for rare meat, 20 minutes per pound for medium, and 25 minutes per pound for well done.

If this is too hard to figure out a thermometer will help. Then you cook to 140`C for rare, 160`C for medium, and 180`C for well done.

Low Sodium Diet

Many people these day's suffer from hypertension. I am one of them. In order to accommodate this I will include special recipes in each catagory if I am able. Also, if one wishes to make any of the recipes that are not mentioned as low sodium, all that need's to be done is reduce the amount of sodium (salt and salty items) in the recipes.
